"Language… has created the word “loneliness” to express the pain of being alone. And it has created the word “solitude” to express the glory of being alone."

This picture is much more deeper than the obvious, this picture can really get to you. It portrays how alone someone can be even around so many people. How you can feel like you just don’t belong. How it seems everyone around you is able to move on and grow stronger, and you’re stuck in a timeless vortex, the feeling of being alone is one that can slowly eat away at your soul. This piece shows that you can be around hundreds of people, but in the end, still feel terribly and incredibly alone on the inside.

"I choose to love you in silence, for in silence I find no rejection.
I choose to love you in loneliness, for in loneliness no one owns you but I.
I choose to adore you from a distance, for distance will shield us from pain.
I choose to kiss you in the wind, for the wind is gentler than my lips.
I choose to hold you in my dreams, for in my dreams you have no end…"

"Loneliness does not come from having no people around one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself, or from holding certain views which others find inadmissible"
